According to her, the driver failed to deliver the items to their intended destination and has remained untraceable since the incident occurred on Tuesday, December 24, at around 7:30 p.m. Sharing her ordeal on social media, she explained that the missing items included cake-making tools worth ₦60,000 and ready-to-fry frozen small chops valued at ₦35,000. The goods were intended for a baker who had requested her assistance in procuring them. The lady recounted how she had coordinated with the baker to meet halfway at Berger to facilitate delivery. The Federal Road Safety Corps (FRSC) has revealed that 13 people lost their lives in road accidents across Edo State in November 2024. This information was shared by the Sector Commander, Cyril Mathew, during a press briefing in Benin City on Sunday. Accidents and Violations Mathew disclosed that the fatalities resulted from multiple accidents in different parts of the state during the month. Alongside the 13 deaths, 76 people sustained injuries. Furthermore, 1,524 drivers were apprehended for violating various traffic rules. A 30-year-old woman, Mercy Michael, has been remanded in a correctional facility by a chief magistrates' court in Kafanchan, Kaduna State, for allegedly killing her eight-month-old daughter using rat poison. The Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps (NSCDC) charged Mercy with culpable homicide, a crime that violates Section 189 of the Kaduna State Penal Code Law.
