Popular TikToker, Peller has hit back at critics advising him against marriage, claiming that the advice often given by parents to delay marriage is rooted in poverty.
In a viral video circulating on the social media platform X (formerly Twitter), Peller, who recently got engaged to his partner, Jarvis, expressed his readiness to marry, insisting that age is not a factor in his decision.

Responding to those questioning his decision, Peller asserted that such advice was shaped by his critics’ parents, who, in his view, discourage early marriage due to financial constraints.
He stated, “Let me tell you something, for all of you saying, ‘he’s young, he’s getting married,’ the truth is, your father and mother lied to you about waiting until a certain age to get married. The reason behind this is poverty.”
He continued, “It’s poverty, I swear to Almighty God. They tell you to marry when you’re older, not realizing that by then, you’ll have little money. No, it’s because of poverty.”
Peller further emphasized his point in the video, challenging those who questioned his decision to marry at his age.
