I Didn’t Have S£x With Anyone!” – Moji Afolayan Finally Speaks On Why She Left Nollywood For 10 Years
Veteran Yoruba actress, Moji Afolayan, has finally opened up about why she disappeared from the Nollywood scene for almost a decade—and no, it’s not what people have been gossiping about!
In a fresh interview that’s now making waves online, the daughter of late legendary filmmaker Ade Love, and sister to popular actor Kunle Afolayan, boldly cleared the air on several rumors that have followed her for years.
“I didn’t have any affair with anyone to get movie roles,” Moji said. “And that is part of what made me step back for a while. I wanted peace, not drama.”

Moji Afolayan explained that her decision to leave Nollywood wasn’t because of scandal or personal failure, but because the industry was beginning to drain her mentally and emotionally. But behind the scenes, Moji was tired of fighting off unnecessary drama, fake friendships, and false promises. She wanted to protect her peace, and that meant stepping away.
Rumors, Marriage & Motherhood
Moji also addressed the rumors that her marriage to actor Ojopagogo (Rasaq Olasunkanmi Olayiwola) was in crisis. Many people assumed her break from Nollywood was connected to marital issues or struggles at home.
But she cleared that up too:
“Marriage is not perfect, but we are still together. I’ve never allowed my career to destroy my home,” she said firmly.
She added that being a mother also played a big role in her absence. Raising a child, being a wife, and staying sane in a fast-moving
