Funmi Awelewa, a well-known actress, has recalled her colleagues Quadri Oyebamiji, who goes by Sisi Quadri on stage.

She posted photos of her late coworker Sisi Quadri on her Instagram page. She passed away on March 1, 2025, exactly one year ago today.  His sudden passing last year was a cruel shock to his devoted followers and fellow film industry professionals.


May God grant his surviving family the strength to endure the irreversible loss and may his soul continue to rest in peace.


Funmi Awelewa made known in her post that it was exactly a year today Nollywood movie industry lost Quadir Oyebamiji to the cold hands of death.


She prayed that may Allah admit him to paradise and protect him from the torment of the grave and torment of Hell- fire. 



Make his grave spacious and fill it with light. Raised his rank among those who are guided and take care of those he leaves behind him. Rest on Ifemi.


Sisi Quadri was a talented comic Actor, Film maker, producer, Master of ceremony, and brand ambassador. 


He was very good at acting, delivery and interpretation of roles accorded him excellently well to the admiration of his fans when he was alive
